The STP at Morinda consists of 3 ponds through which the sewage passes before it is disposed off for irrigation.

Nano bubbles proved their efficiency not only during the month when the machine was in operation but also after that. This proved that they stay in water for a long time and slowly burst thereby increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen and reducing the BOD and other parameters.

HOW DID THE PARAMETERS CHANGE?

The BOD was observed to be 311 mg/l before the operation started and was found to reduce to 16mg/l while the machine was running.

A month after the operation the BOD was observed to be 35mg/l.

The COD also dipped to a great extent as it went from 626 mg/l to 144 mg/l while the machine was in operation and then increased at a very slow rate to only measure 228 mg/l after a month.
